Quiet Reflections

This week’s photos are brought to you by the letter “R”, for “Reflection”.
(Weekly Photo – Week #18, April 30, 2014)

“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” (Edith Wharton)

Some of my photos where reflections play a key role … enjoy, and don’t forget to reflect on what you are seeing.

Ducks, Ducks … and more Ducks

This week’s photos are brought to you by the letter “Q”, for “Quack” … oops, make that “Birds that Go Quack”.
(Weekly Photo – Week #17, April 23, 2014)

Most of these photos were taken in and around the Ottawa area where I live. We are inundated with Canadian geese from early spring to late fall, and if you look for them, instead you can find many varieties of beautiful ducks doing their thing.

Ponds & Power

This week’s photos are brought to you by the letter “P”, for “Ponds” & “Power”.
(Weekly Photo – Week #16, April 16, 2014)

I couldn’t decide which photos to use this week for the letter “P”, so I made an executive decision and used photos of ponds and power lines.

So first the ponds …

… and here are the power towers and lines …

Night

This week’s photos are brought to you by the letter “N”, for “Night”.
(Weekly Photo – Week #14, April 2, 2014)

Nothing special – just some photos in my collection that were taken after dark.
