This week’s photos are brought to you by the letter “E” for “Easy Living”. (Weekly Photo – Week #05, January 29, 2014)
We are now a few days before the month of “Farch” (February/March) and it appears, at least for a few days, that we will be coming out of the deep freeze across Canada. (It’s all relative, eh? Coming out of the deep freeze means it is still below freezing, but at least not 30 degrees Centigrade below zero!)
As much as I enjoy winter and downhill skiing, my thoughts are starting to focus more and more on the spring and summer months. Not helping this thought process is the fact that every time I go to my car in the garage I can see my motorbike under its cover, patiently waiting to get back out on the roads.
I have photos of beautiful winter scenes and adventures, but given my strong, current focus on spring and summer, why not remember some warm memories from the past.
Without further verbiage, here are some of my images that I am calling “Easy Living”.
Were you aware that you should be extra cautious of making a major life decision during the months of February and March, or Farch? I remember reading somewhere that in the northern climes we tend to be down during these months, and that major decisions may well reflect this “down” feeling rather than reality. Not sure if this is true or not, but it makes sense. Of course, if you are like me, you can find a similar excuse to procrastinate making a decision for any month of the year.
